- We continue working focused in productivity growth in the farms with projects that support the farmers growth.

- These objectives are achieved thanks to the establishments´ fodder aptitude; our pastures plan is for one more year a very interesting proposal, because the farmers pay for their investment in pastures, after they have given their productive profit; this means that gamble on growing is paid with production.

- 2007 PASTURE PLAN is based on three years ( since 2004) investment of aprox. U$S 3 million, on 30.000 hás. worked. For 2007 we expect 10.000 hás with U$S 1 million.

- Organic beef project firmly continue with 250 certified farmers and we expect to gorw both from our customers from abroad and our cattle suppliers in Uruguay.

- We continue gambling on our natural beef project, together with INAC with 90 certified farmers in our country.

- One of PUL´ s most important projects that caused great impact is the PHOSPHORITE PLAN . In 2006 , 8.000 hás were fertilized, and in March of 2007 there already are 10.000 hás worked ; we will complete 15.000 hás by the end of the season.

2006

- In our ORGANIC BEEF program, we certified 100 new establishments, being a total of 225 certified establishments for ORGANIC BEEF production.

- Regarding NATURAL BEEF, we reached 100 certified farmers.

- PUL PASTURES PLAN 2006 also starts. We project as an important impact as in 2004 and 2005, with an investment possibility of U$S 1.000.000 and an improvement on more than 10.000 hás.

- SUPLEMENTATION PLAN. In 2005 both farmers and PUL considered this as a very important and positive project for both, so we expect the same for this year in order to improve our farmers production.

- The new PHOSPHORITE PLAN in which we are working now with a fertilization of 3.500 hás till January 2006 and with a projection over more 4.500 has makes a total of 8.000 hás fertilizated.

- These are the projects in which we are envolved today at PUL… although some others remain asleep on our desks.

2005

- We invest more than 900.000 dollars in our PASTURES PLAN, conventional sowings, sowings over stubble, direct sowing grass improvements, fertilization, re- fertilization, etc.

- We work over more than 9.000 hás which let us finish 5.000 heads of cattle, obtaining more and better animals for the slaughter.

- We are constantly betting to the ORGANIC BEEF and NATURAL BEEF.

- We get the certification of 25 establishments as NATURAL BEEF, remaining 25 in their way to be certified and 90 establishments in the certification programm as ORGANIC BEEF.

- Through our Suplementation Plan we reached more than 1500 animals, obtaining an excellent quality and a good final weight.

2004

- We invest more than 1 million dollars in our PASTURES PLAN 2004, conventional sowings, sowings over stubble, direct sowing grass improvements, fertilization, re- fertilization, etc.

- We work over more than 10.000 hás which let us finish 15.000 heads of cattle, obtaining more and better animals for the slaughter.

- We look for the best consideration for our products through certifications as ORGANIC BEEF and NATURAL BEEF.

- We bet on the certification of 50 establishments as NATURAL BEEF and 135 establishments as ORGANIC BEEF.

DUE TO ALL WE MENTIONED ABOVE AND BECAUSE WE BELIEVE THAT A TEAM WORK BETWEEN FARMERS AND INDUSTRY IS THE RIGHT WAY, WE FEEL SATISFIED OF OUR ACHIEVEMENTS AND WILL CONTINUE WORKING IN THIS WAY.
